So I'll let you in on a little secret. It doesn't sound weird, but it takes hard work. And by "hard work" I mean roughly three hours a week. But don't worry—that's because I'm going to show you how to get the job done faster than ever before!
Step 1. Find a niche
The first step to making money online is to find a niche. It can be anything from "Make money online" to "How to lose weight fast". Once you know your niche, it's time to find someone who makes money in it!
There are many ways to find gaps: browsing forums, looking at old blog posts, using Google keywords and typing things like “what should I do with my life?” etc.
The key here is not only to find ideas for niche positions, but also to find those that are frequently sought after.
You don't want to pick an obscure topic that no one is interested in or interested in learning more about (unless you have a great way to explain things). We're looking for something that people want answers to and are willing to pay us to help them get those answers!
Step 2. Create an online course
After you've decided to create a course, it's time to start creating your first one. You can choose anything you want as a topic, as long as it's something that appeals to your audience and gives them value.
You can even take a course on how to create a successful blog or how to make money online, but I would recommend choosing something more specific because the topics are so broad.
For example, if you have a dog walking business and there is a need for dog walkers in your area, consider creating an online course on how other people can start their own business. be very helpful to people who want to start their own business but don't know where to start!
Or if you are interested in making money playing video games, maybe give some tips/tricks to make real income from it!
Step 3 Research the competition
Once you know what your audience needs, it's time to research the competition.
You can do this in several ways:
Use Google to find similar content.
Search social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook for keywords related to your topic.
Check out the most popular posts on Reddit or Quora (if relevant to your area).
When you do this research, make sure you look at all the sources equally treat all sources equally - don't just focus on sites owned by big brands or publishers, as these sites are too broad for you to write about. Instead, check out smaller blogs from people who may be writing about their personal experiences on whatever topic you're focusing on.
You'll gain insight into what readers really want and how they react when someone gives them something awesome!
Step 4. Get a website and sales funnel
Now that you have a product and a path, it's time to set up your website. Your website will be the center of all your sales funnels. This is also where people go when they want to buy your products or services. To get started, you need an awesome domain name and hosting company (we use Bluehost).
Now let's create some landing pages: this is the first step in any sales funnel that drives traffic from Facebook ads or other sources. You can do this manually, but I like to use Unbounce because it only takes about five minutes!
If you're looking for something simpler than Unbounce, Leadpages is also great and up to 500 leads per month for free!
Step 5. Publish and promote your course on multiple platforms
Once you've completed your course and completed the initial course creation process, it's time to publish your course on Udemy. This is the first platform most people think of when they hear “online courses” because it was one of the first platforms in this space and has been around for a long time. If you are selling your course through Udemy, I recommend uploading a free demo version of your course. This will give you a chance to get feedback from early adopters and beta testers before charging your customers full price for a possibly unfinished product.
Once you get feedback from users, then it's time to make the video lectures more polished or add more content if needed before you increase your paid course prices or start a full-time business as an online teacher!
You should also take advantage of other popular platforms like Skillshare (recommended by Andrew Warner), Pluralsight (recommended by Jason Fried), Lynda (recommended by Seth Godin) ... offered through these channels.
